The veggies of our labor.

So far we have been using the chard, spinach, and celery from our garden for juicing. The celery also made an appearance in Thanksgiving dinner. But the real star of the garden, and the biggest headache because of those sugarfooting cabbage moths, is the broccoli. And tonight we were able to harvest some and cook it up in some homemade fried rice. It was delish! And it does feel pretty (incredibly) satisfying to cook with what we've grown ourselves.

P.S. If you'd like to try the fried rice yourself (although it probably will be fractionally less yummy without our broccoli) check out the recipe on My Recipes.com.
