Last night (being December 1st and all) we got that familiar late night knocking at the door. Funny that it always happens right after bath time. This time she sent Reigho (our elf on the shelf, we've been tight since '09) along with the gift. Makes sense for a number of reasons: Reigho could keep the gift safe since our front door is now at street level, only one trip was necessary from the North Pole...and probably more that we haven't even thought of yet. B was thrilled with her plum (not purple, plum, because Mrs. Claus was thinking of the Sugar Plum Fairies when she made them) and was in awe of how she knew the kids' sizes even though they have been growing since last Christmas.
