Disneyland is still there in the spring!

We made our second trip to the happiest place on earth this past weekend and we had a blast. Both kids enjoyed it so much more this time, although it was more exhausting with two kids ready to run at all times! Thankfully we had cousin Grant there with us and he was such a big help with the B & C. We flew Virgin America down south, our first time on that airline and they were wonderful! We didn't expect them to be so child friendly, but they were and the fact that they are located in the international part of SFO made the check-in and security so much less busy and much easier. As always, the flight attendants on Southwest on our way home were very friendly and helpful too. One of the attendants even carried our carry-on off the plane for us since both kids were asleep when we landed.

This time around the favorite ride may have been the Toy Story ride in California Adventures, a long wait but so fun. B rode her first roller coaster in Toon Town (she just barely made the height requirement and its quite likely that her hair is the only reason she looked tall enough) and she loved it. T faced her fear and went on the ferris wheel, but that may be her grand finale. We made it to two Playhouse Disney shows and B's been singing "meeska mooska Mikey Mouse!" since we got home. We also saw the Muppet show this time, but the 3D was a bit hard on the kids, C only made it about 5 min with the glasses on. The rockets in Tomorrowland were C's favorite we think. B got to do the princess makeover at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique in Fantasyland, which she loved. C was very excited to "meet" Mater and Lightening McQueen, and he really enjoyed having his own autograph book this time.

We also made reservations in advance and got to have dessert at the Blue Bayou (inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride) which was fun, but not as relaxing as we remembered it being...although that was pre-parenthood. And just in case anyone was wondering: the very first ride B wanted to go on was the King Arthur carousel in Fantasyland (she asked to do that first while we were still on the plane!) and yes, she did also get to go on the King Triton carousel in California Adventures....and even rode the seahorse all by herself! She's getting so big.

B has figured out that her middle name is Rose and has made the connection to the flower. When given a choice she will always choose the roses and she loves to point them out and say "Look a rose! Just like I your rose!"

She loves them all, but hot pink is her favorite.

In defense of her brother.

Yesterday C did a very solid flying leap into T's face and there was (and still is) some question as to whether he didn't break it.

So today B tried to honk T's nose and she was told "No. Don't honk Mama's nose. It hurts because Cavan bonked me yesterday."

To which B replied, rather sternly, "Cavan is the greatest brother in the whole entire world!"

Evidently she doesn't like anyone speaking negatively about her brother. Or perhaps he was acting under her orders. Either way, consider yourself warned about crossing these sibling bonds.
