Let the games begin! We are house hunting and wondering how we ever forgot how stressful this whole thing can be. Today we looked at two places: a house in San Mateo and a duplex in Burlingame. They both have hardwood floors throughout, backyards (more or less), lots of cool built-ins and crown molding. We really, really like them both! But so do many, many other people.
We did our best to show what a lovely young family we are, and how much we would love to live there. The applications are turned in (along with a little personal note...just to remind them -- in a totally not pushy way -- who we are). Now we just wait and keep perusing Craigslist (just in case).
Please! Please! Please! Everyone keep your fingers and toes and anything else you can manage to cross for us. We need all the good luck and love vibes we can get right now!
