B had her first French playgroup/class today. We were so excited and then...we were the only ones to show up. The teacher still held the class for us, and she's checking to see if the others dropped out or just forgot. If no one else will be there then the class will get dropped, which is fine because a big part of our reason for signing her up was for her to get interaction with other kids her age. Marianne, the teacher, also runs a French immersion preschool out of her home so we might try that once a week. But neither of us is very excited about leaving her someplace without us. J would feel more comfortable if it was an actual school, so T did some research and found a place called the Universe of Colors school. They are in San Mateo, which is a little less convenient but not too bad. She could go once a week, and C and T could even do a Mommy & Me class part of the time. We'll try to schedule visits to both and see how we feel about them.
If you're wondering how B feels about all of this she told us that she wants to "go to school, Mama stay home." Guess she's more ready than we are.
