The original plan was to take B to the Bay Area Discovery Museum today, but we ended up leaving much later than we had hoped and with traffic we would have had a very short time to play there. So we needed to find someplace else to take her after we were already on the road...hey, there's an app for that! Woohoo! Fortunately we were able to divert our course for California Academy of Sciences (which J has been dying to go to, it just opened right around the time C was born). Turned out to be a very lucky mistake, because we discovered a new part of Golden Gate Park that we now adore! The museum is absolutely amazing; we didn't even really experience all of it because we only had about an hour and a half and B wanted to spend a good portion of that time in the children's play area. The rainforest feature was where we spent most of our time and its worth the price of admission to just to see that exhibit. B saw a butterfly land on someone's hand and spent the rest of the time walking around with her arm out in front of her saying "here, here" trying to catch one. It was pretty cute. One finally landed on C's stroller and B was so excited she stopped traffic! After the museum closed we walked around the music concourse (just in front of the de Young Museum of Art) a bit and B had a blast playing in the huge (empty) fountain with some new friends.
The true and outstanding adventures of Tiffany, Justin, Brynn and Cavan. Keep up with us if you can!
