She's two! She's two! Its just breezed past us in such a rush, we can't believe that she's already two years old. We decided this year to make it a week long celebration, so we let her open a gift each day:
Monday... the Chizu doll!
Tuesday... Madeline on DVD
Wednesday... a Charlie & Lola book
Thursday... an alphabet puzzle
Now its Friday; the day of days. We got everything ready last night, so all she had to do was wake up this morning and have a birthday party. T made special birthday t-shirts; she took B to the craft store yesterday to pick out the colors, which B was very, very excited about. We would have liked to let B be involved in the actually dying of the shirts, but it didn't work out that way (mostly because T didn't find time to dye them until about 10pm last night).
And then it was time to open her mountain of presents!

For her special birthday breakfast T made strawberry shortcake cupcakes (complete with homemade whipped cream).
