The Games Preschoolers Play

These are some of the phrases regularly flying around our life at the moment.

(about to be sent to his room)
C: One more try? You pretty. I lubba you!

~~~
B: I'm hungry. I need something that is round and crunchy. And chocolate.
T: Do you mean a cookie?
B: Something small.
T: Are you asking for a cookie?
B: (shrugs) It could be anything...
T: Are you asking me if you can have a cookie?
B: If you think so. It could be a cookie. Okay I guess.
~~~

C: Me a bad guy!!!!!! Bad guy fun!

~~~
B: If you eat a chip, I'm going to eat a chip. Just so you know. I'm just telling you. That's how it is.
~~~

B: Just stop all this nonsense.

~~~
C: Play a tiny bit?
(25 min later...)
C: Play a tiny bit?
T: I did play for more than a tiny bit.
C: Play a tiny bit more?
  1. You should really keep some sort of journal of all the adorable things your kids say. I'm doing that with the stuff my students say. They crack me up!
