Sunday is not a very fun day for Halloween to land; by Sunday evening we're all pretty wiped from a busy weekend, but you can't not go trick or treating when you have a beautiful Tinkerbell and a ferocious (and adorable) dinosaur in your life. This was the first official t-or-t experience for B and C. Last year we were in Disneyland around this time and we went trick or treating in the park but it wasn't really the same. We spent the week explaining what would happen and the kids (B especially) were very excited. For C, the promise of candy was the only thing that got him to dress up in his costume.

The second we were back at the Lymans' house (casa de Lyman, as we're trying to get B to say) the boys were out of their costumes! B wore hers for the rest of the night, and would have happily slept in it if we had let her.

The Friday before Halloween, as usual, PDI had a fun lunch party complete with decorations and kid and adult costume fashion shows. Originally B said she wanted to be a superhero, so she picked out a pink supergirl costume and we found a cute knight prince costume for C; only it was much too big for him. So T took them to the Disney store so he could pick out something different (thus the dinosaur) and B fell in love with (all of the costumes, but especially) the Tinkerbell costume; and T caved and let her get that one too. We were pleasantly surprised and very pleased when B got creative with her costume for the lunch at daddy's work, combining the two costumes into a brand new, never before seen Super Fairy. It inspired us to amp up C's costume as well, so he was a Dinokight that day.
