Oregon, how we love thee!

We spent last week in our favorite state enjoying family, friends and all the green and tax free shopping we could absorb in nine days. The official reason for the trip was J and T's 10 year high school reunion, but of course we went to see all of our loved ones. Visiting our old stomping grounds felt pretty good too. We tried leaving at night this time, which worked pretty well on our way up to Oregon. We stopped in Eugene to visit the Fitzpatrick clan and to stay with Uncle Dev & Aunt Jennifer (we missed cousin Julia, but had lots of fun with cousins Jax and Hayley).B and C loved playing on Gramma & Grampa's farm with all the "sheep" (even though they don't actually have any sheep...goats and a donkey, but good luck convincing B of that).B went out on her first boating adventure with Daddy, and Rory even let her drive the boat. We're missing the Moores a lot, especially because B and Hayden make the cutest little set of besties we've ever seen.
Spending time with Uncle Dustin and Auntie Jess reminded us all of the good old days.
There were a lot of playmates at Papa & Nana's to keep us busy (Uncle Tony, Aunt Shelly & Uncle Ralph, cousins Taylor and Grant).
We spent a wonderful Friday in our favorite city, enjoying the zoo with Kim and Trevin and then lunch with some of J's Laika cohorts. The shopping was good and we had a nice visit with the soon to be Londoners, but always Aussie Grant and Clare. Poor T was ill with a mommy affliction the second half of the trip (mastitis) and tried to hold strong but caved on Sunday and so we left earlier than planned. We ended up having to stop and sleep at a motel in Medford, so we didn't even get home any earlier on Monday, but we tried our best.

Thanks to everyone who fed and housed us on our journey. We love you all and are so happy to have spent the time with you.
